There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call. Who would you call? Okay find forget the whole honolulu to chicaho thing if you were about to die and you had time for one more phone call, who would you call??

hawaii and chicago plane trips are with layovers and theyre not direct but putting taht aside, my parents bcuz i would trust them to tell my family and friends as well

"hawaii and chicago plane trips are with layovers and theyre not direct" I'm not sure how nitpicking the question in this fashion is constructive, especially because it's inaccurate -- United has daily nonstop service between Honolulu and Chicago (UA flights 1 and 2, respectively.) That having been said, if such an event occurred and the stars aligned such that I were either able to use onboard phones or miraculously got a cell phone signal at 30,000 feet while over water, then I'd call my wife.

I'd call my girlfriend if I had one at the time or my family. I'd then break out in pray begging to not die but a safe emergency landing. If we land without injury. You'd bet I'd be the first mofo out the door onto the exit slide.

If I was coming back from Hawaii, my husband would be with me, so I would call one of my kids. I'd remind them where the will is, and the life insurance forms. I'd make them swear they'd keep my 2 little Yorkies with them, and of course I would tell them I love them.
