How long is the flight from SFO to Honolulu? How about from Honolulu to Melbourne Australia?
I am taking an around the world trip with my 1 year old. I'd like to fly NYC - SFO - HAWAII - MELBOURNE - DELHI - ALMATY (KAZAKHSTAN) - LONDON - NYC. The trick is no single leg can be more than 8 hours so I am trying to identify which of these legs is more than 8 hours and which stops I can add in make any one leg shorter. Any advice is appreciated.

Sfo To Hnl is right at about 5 hours in the air... HNL to Melbourne if you get a nonstop flight would be just short of 12 hours. It appears there are not many non-stop flights. Jetstar airways is the only one.
