What does Delta serve on flights LAX TO HONOLULU?
If you have a picture that will be great. And if not I would like a description. And I want to be sure because I want to see if I should eat before or wait. Thanks. And not Airline meals because it is not updated and I am looking to see what Delta serves in dinner on coach.

Meal choices vary according to flight time of day, omelets are usually served in the morning. You can pretty much count on chicken and one other entree at dinner. I would call the airline and ask them. What's your point anyway? If you require a special meal then you can request that when you make your reservations, they will serve you any special meal that you order in advance. So if you want a shrimp cocktail and watermellon then request it.

The above answer is a little bit off. Delta does not give you a choice of "entree" in Coach. Actually, they do not give you a choice in First anymore either. Not sure which flight you are on, whether it is their morning departure (flight 1465) or their evening departure (flight 1467), but you will receive a meal on both flights in Coach. Since it is a morning flight, you will get a breakfast aboard flight 1465. Dinner is served on flight 1467. Although I flew on 1467 in June, it was in First Class, so I cannot tell you exactly what was served for dinner in Coach. But typically Delta will serve the Coach cabin a "cheaper" version of the meal served up in First. On my flight, the entree consisted of manicotti and a grilled chicken breast, along with squash and zucchini, a small salad, dinner roll, and a small slice of key lime pie. I do have a photo if you would like me to e-mail it to you. Having flown Delta numerous times to and from Honolulu, I would definitely suggest grabbing a little something from the McDonald's, CPK, or other eatery in LAX before boarding your flight. This way you will have some food if you decide not to eat what Delta offers you. On one last note, I know you are looking for a current description of the Coach meal, but I do have a photo of the Coach meal served on Delta's evening LAX-HNL flight from July 2006. It is the same dinner that they had served for that flight for the previous three years or so (and also the same meal they served for lunch on the midday HNL-LAX flight). It consisted of pieces of marinated chicken with steamed rice, slices of carrots, small salad, dinner roll, and a pre-packaged brownie. I would not be surprised at all if the Coach dinner is still pretty much the same today.
