There are dozens of cabs lined up at the airport 24 hours. There are also shuttles available, call them to schedule Reliable Shuttle: call 808.924.9292 (for daytime flights) VIP Trans: call 808.836.0317 (for late night flights)

There's tons of shuttles, i'm sure. and cabs.. well i live on oahu so i'm not quite sure, but i did take a cab from the airport to my house at around 6 in the evening. It was really easy. im sorry i don't have enough info because i live and here and don't visit waikiki too often, but please have fun!!! I love Hawaii, and I hope you will too! p.s. waikiki is really crowded. i would recommend driving down to the windward side and go to kailua beach or kalama beach. There is no coral, extremely soft sand, shallow water, and no big waves. AND it's nicer than waikiki and less crowded :) just a half hour drive-and totally worth it. HAVE A BLAST! :D

Aloha Pink...you won't have a problem getting a taxi when you land in Honolulu. One thing though, if you booked through a Travel Company like Pleasant Holidays they have a Free Shuttle that runs between the Airport and the Waikiki Hotels, you should check with your Booking Agent.

It won't be much of a problem. Just go to a taxi, tell the driver 'I want to go to the Waikiki Hotel by 9 to 10 pm,' wait a while, and get out and into the hotel.

No problem, just a skip and a hop away from the airport and the traffic won't be that bad. Enjoy yourself and you will be in Waikiki in no time. Just another local.... http://hawaii-vacation-adventures-oahu.com

Nope, not a problem at all since taxi's are at the airport 24 hours a day. When you arrive in Honolulu, claim your baggage and then walk out the doors toward the street. There will either be someone on the curb yelling "taxi" or you can cross the street and there should be a line of taxi's waiting. Good luck and happy travels!
