Which would be cheaper for airline travel

Which would be cheaper for airline travel?
I am booking a flight for 2 to Honolulu,Hawaii. We are either flying out from New Orleans or Gulfport. Would it be cheaper to book our 2 flights as one ways instead of roundtrip (as in book a one way flight to Honolulu, and a one way from Honolulu home. Instead of booking them both at the same time as a roundtrip) Or would it be cheaper to book both of our trips separate as roundtrip flights (as in I book my rountrip flight, and then he will book his roundtrip flight) We are just trying to save some money to have more to spend once we get to the island. Thanks!

Get round-trips from New Orleans to Honolulu. Book them together, and you can get your seats together, too. Regards, Dan

well you should definately get roundtrip because say if you were moving to hawaii the oneway ticket would cost more than the rondtrip most of the time because it is a hassle for the airline with bookings, it is way cheaper to book roundtrip

Definitely round trip - and book together. Do you already have a hotel? If you need a package, check out Expedia - we got an awesome deal on a hotel and airfare package when we went.
