what airline is cheapest from honolulu to thailand

what airline is cheapest from honolulu to thailand ?
im thinking of planning a trip to thailand sometime in the next few months ... from honolulu hawaii... but i checked on expedia and a few other sites...cheapest flights i found were like $1000 !!!! sounds expensive, there's got to be a cheaper way to go!!!!!!!! i've been there once before, years ago...almost 10.... what's changed since? is it terribly more expensive than it was back then because it was dirt cheap back then! stayed in bangkok for about 4 days and then road a bus down to pattaya beach for about a week.... it was awesome but i missed out on so many things !!! i was super young and kinda nervous..... any suggestions would be great !!!!!!!! and what to expect price wise! !!! thanks in advance

I think Japan Airlines has pretty good fare for that routing... Roughly around 900USD/roudtrip (if seats available).

I've done alot of research on that since I'm planning a trip to Bangkok from Honolulu in November. The cheapest and fastest flight is China Airlines.Their flight leaves Honolulu at 7:20 AM and makes a connection in Taipei.Arrives in Bangkok at 4:30PM.Much better than those late night arrivals.Fares are approximately $812 including tax and fees.Total travel time is 15 hours including connections. The baht is much stronger against the dollar now,31.7 baht to the dollar as of today. However,it is still very cheap, relatively speaking.I'm married to a Thai so go there every few years.Enjoy your trip...don't be nervous. The Thais are great people.
