Has anyone flow from Chicago (ORD) to Honolulu

Has anyone flow from Chicago (ORD) to Honolulu?
If so, how was your flight? I am trying to decide if the straight shot to Honolulu from Chicago is better than a lay over, especially since I hate flying so much. Anyone?

I went from chicago to seattle and it was a four and a half hour flight. It seemed very long. I have a friend who flew the same route as you and they had to stop in los angeles. So i would stop if i were you.

wow...i don't know if there is a direct flight from Chicago to Honolulu or not, but if there were, i don't think i would take it. i would connect in Seattle or San Fransisco. I went to Maui earlier this summer and it took 6 hrs to get there from Seattle! It was a long flight, but definitely worth it!
