HA HA the other person doesn't know how to calculate a time change!! If you are flying direct (no stops) about 7.5-8 hours and a litte faster on the way back (there will probably be a tail wind on the way back making it quicker). But you will get there "about 4 hours after you leave" because of the time change. Hawaii does not change times with daylight savings time. During the summer there will be a 4 hour time change between HI & CO; during the winter there is 3 hours different.

I agree - figure on at least 8 hours in the air - but hey, you're going to HI, its worth it! The only thing that bothers me is the return red-eye flight, I always wind up totally exhausted, but the time change on the way to HI never really bothers me =)

no way 2-3 hours?? It's about 5 hours from SFo non-stop.. Non-stop for Denver is 6-7 hours, however a lot of them have at least one stop which is about 10-11 hours depending of the layover

If you fly direct from Denver to Honolulu, it will be about 7-1/2 to 8 hours total flying time. It takes the plane about 2 hours to go from Denver to the west coast over Los Angeles and then another 5-1/2 hours or so to Hawaii.
