Connecting flight at LAX. Is one hour enough time?
I'm arriving from Dallas,TX to LAX to catch a connecting flight departing to Honolulu,HI. The flights are only one hour apart. Will this be enough time? The flights are with the same airline. I know it's within the same terminal. What procedures need to be followed for situations like this??? Anyone know. HELP!!

Yes, that should be fine. Dont forget, the airlines build about an exta half hour into arrival times of each flight, so even if you were delayed an hour in Dallas, you would still probably catch that flight.

As long as the flight isn't seriously delayed you will be fine. When you buy a ticket that includes connections, enough time for transfer is already calculated. Each connection has a predetermined "minimum connection" time, it is not possible to buy a ticket that will violate this.

I am assuming that you are flying American. You should be fine. Just as everyone else said that as long as there is no major delay, you will make the connection. If it makes you feel better, see if you can find a seat closer to the front of the plane so that you can get off the aircraft faster. You can even ask the flight attendant what gate you will arrive at and what gate the flight departing to Honolulu will depart from. That way you know exactly where you are going once you get off the plane.

what airline is the same airline or different airline if its the same airline then yes it should be enough time as sometimes one airlines uses one terminal (like American uses Terminal 4 but Delta using Term 5and 6 which means you would have to to through TSA security all over again) or northwest Uses Terminal 2 which is a long walk from American)
