Would they...

Would they...?
Would they let me take a crochet needle on an airplane? It's (i think) aluminum. Some sort of soft metal. Or would I have to put it in my baggage. The flight is from Honolulu Hawaii, to LA to Atlanta, Georgia, then back to LA and to Hawaii.

As long as you don't try to knit an Afghan! Actually, I think that you'll have to pack 'em in your checked luggage. Check with the TSA on their website, since they'll be the ones that will be determining whether you'll be getting on.

I think they recently changed the rule, allowing these on aircraft. I'm not familiar with the difference between crochet and knitting needles, but I do know that they now allow knitting ones onboard the aircraft. Like the last post says, check with the TSA website to be sure.
