I`m flying into LAX from Honolulu at 10.05pm and have a flight to Sydney leaving at 2350. Is this enough time?

Assuming the plane is on schedule, that's plenty of time. Why are you going from Honolulu to Sydney via LA? Seems like the long way home.....

Hey, You'll have 1 hour and 55 minutes to get to your connecting flight to Sydney, which should be plenty of time!! Have fun!

You have "just" enough time. In HNL you can check in your bags for the entire itinerary (to Sydney), that should save you time. If the airlines have a partnership you might be able to check in (seat, etc). If you are flying with AA, you will be landing in terminal 4, in this terminal you can check in with Quantas, if not you need to go to T Bradley International or Terminal 3. * Most of the time is faster to walk to the terminals than waiting for the connecting bus.

why could you just fly out of Honolulu to Sydney you are going backward and a lot flights stop in Honolulu on their way to Sydney you will save a whole bunch of money and time
