Why no IAD-HNL / HNL-IAD / JFK-HNL / HNL-JFK / MIA-HNL / HNL-HNL all flights nonstop

Why no IAD-HNL / HNL-IAD / JFK-HNL / HNL-JFK / MIA-HNL / HNL-HNL all flights nonstop?
Why no nonstop flights between Honolulu (HNL) and Washington (IAD), New York (JFK), Miami (MIA)? One is the nation's capital and the other two are the busiest of the east coast for international traffic. I don't know why none of these three airports have direct flights to Honolulu (HNL).

There are directs, just not non-stops. It's over 4800 miles from DC to Honolulu. Tokyo is only another 600 miles. The really large jets can do that sort of run, but they typically only use them for the international flights, like to Tokyo, because of the costs.
